As parents of young children, we’ve all been there: it’s a hot, sunny day, the kids are playing – just absolutely sweating up a storm and as you reach for your little one’s sippy cup you realize the ice has melted and the contents are very warm and less than refreshing. Well that’s exactly where Kidzikoo steps in to save the day!

Unfortunately our Kidzikoo box was badly squashed when it arrived, so I tried my best to fix it up prior to snapping these pictures. I know keeping packaging costs down is important, and will decrease the manufacturing/shipping fees, but it may be something for Kidzikoo to look into. If I were sending a Kidzikoo to a friend as a gift I would feel a little disappointed that the package looks so rough upon arrival. As a customer I would pay more to have it shipped in a harder box, so perhaps that could be an option. On the bright side, the Kidzikoo itself was in perfect condition! It is – and needs to be practically indestructible for children to be using it, after all! ;)
Kidzikoo is also making a splash in the baby/child personalization/identification scene because Kidzikoo is available in 6 modern, unisex prints that are easily recognizable by you and your child! We selected the Drew print for my 2.5 year old – and he absolutely loves it! What I love is that this hopefully means that the kid with the runny nose and horrible cough at playgroup/the park/daycare (you all know who I’m talking about) will finally realize that not all blue sippy cups with green lids are his!
I took my 2.5 year old to the park and naturally grabbed his Kidzikoo, easily slid it onto his stainless steal (brr) sippy cup, filled it with ice water and headed out. As he played and I (annoyingly, but rightfully so) reminded him in 15 minute increments or so to have a sip of water – so he swiftly ran over to the park bench, grabbed his cup out of the 8 or so other cups, had a sip and ran back to the sand box – with comfortably warm and DRY hands! I know, I know, I bet you are constantly putting up with dewy hands on hot days just from all the condensation that drips off your little one’s cups, right? Well that’s just another bonus of Kidzikoo – it’s super stylish, keeps drinks cold AND prevents cold and clammy “condensation hands”.
And one more thing: it’s also a highly affordable means to protecting your wooden surfaces, too. As long as your kiddos use a Kidzikoo over his/her sippy cup, you won’t have to deal with nasty moisture rings on your furniture either! Pretty awesome, right? We think so! ;)
Kidzikoo is made of non-slip, stretchy material that is designed to fit most 8-12 ounce bottles and sippy cups. I asked my son to round up a couple of his favourite sippy cups to test Kidzikoo out on. It fit snuggly on all of them, even through they were each a different shape. Now that’s nice! I highly recommend purchasing one; you and your child will love it!
