DIY: Finger Paints!
Below is my super easy recipe for diy finger paints! I can usually make two batches in under 10 minutes. Your little ones are sure to have fun with this inexpensive alternative to commercial finger paints! :)
I store the paints in re-purposed 7.5oz baby food jars.
Total cost for this DIY Activity: less than $1.

They turned out great, except the colouring isn’t as bright/bold as it appears it would be. So if you like the diluted look, this is perfect ;)
But seriously, my guy loved them just the same! :)

I love homemade finger paints! I once made a batch with my own dyes from fruits, veggies, and tea, but that was super messy and time consuming.

You make it look so easy! I don’t know what recipe I followed, but my attempt was a DISASTER! I just got some natural store bought ones for Natey’s b-day. I’ll let you know what I think when I try them out.

No, no it IS easy! The paints come out a little weak in colour though, so maybe I didn’t add enough colouring to them. But even so, the big guy didn’t have any complaints! ;)
p.s. I’m too cheap to buy natural finger paints ;)
