Review and Giveaway: Organic cotton reusable produce bags ($25 value)

We’ve all done it, grabbed a plastic bag from the produce section reel and loaded it with a few apples, some broccoli or some sweet peppers. Unfortunately those flimsy plastic bags end up in trash cans, which ultimately make their way into land fills. That’s why it’s so great that reusable produce bags eliminate the need for using disposable plastic produce bags while shopping!

Founded by Lacey Lybecker in 2009, A Greener Kitchen offers us sustainable style solutions for kitchen and dining with eco-friendly kitchen products and accessories- including organic cotton aprons and reusable produce bags:

A Green Kitchen invited me to review a set of their organic cotton reusable produce bags which eliminate the need for plastic produce bags entirely. What I really love about these bags is that they are available in various sizes – so you no longer need big bags for your smaller produce needs (like a handful of bulk cherries).

I’ve grocery shopped with these bags twice at our local farmer’s market and have walked away feeling great about my organic cotton, eco-chic bags. Each reusable bag even has a built-in elastic loop that works perfectly to keep items inside while in transit! I really love my set and definitely will be purchasing more sets for my friends and family members.  This has been one of my favourite items to review because I know just how often I will be using them.

Buy it! Each set contains two 6”x7”, two 9”x9” and two 12”x16” bags and retails for $24.95.

Win it! A Greener Kitchen has graciously offered to give one lucky Organic Mama reader their very own set for free! Simply fill out the easy Rafflecopter Entry Form below to be entered! Good luck! :)
