Wordless Wednesday: Spoiling Children (with love) {& LINKY}

And now for this week’s Wordless Wednesday:

What a beautiful reminder, especially during the Christmas season! :)

Do you spoil your child with your presents or your presence?

  1. I completely agree. I think around this time of year, it’s easy to think about all the material stuff we give kids…but in reality it’s our time that they want and need.

  2. Spoil my kids with presents – NO.
    Spoil my kids with my presence – YES.

    Of course, they are grown now and our schedules don’t permit us spending near the time as when they were at home. Those days I miss immensely and wish for a day I could get it all back.

    1. Oh Cathy I teared up reading your comment! It makes me so sad to think of my little babies growing up and moving out – I just don’t know how people do it! :)

  3. It seems things were easier when I could fit the toys belonging to my five children all in one toybox. And they shared two bedrooms. And we did not consider ourselves poor. Now I only give books to my grandchildren. They get more than they need from parents who even put TV in a 3 year old’s bedroom. UNNECESSARY!

  4. What a great sentiment, and I agree. We can’t afford any Christmas gifts for our son this year, but I keep reminding myself it’s our loving presence that matters the most, not material things.
