Ever wonder how safe the products you’re using on your baby are? I know you might say to yourself, if the lotions and creams you use are being sold at your local store, they must be safe – right? WRONG. In fact, according to the Skin Deep Cosmetics Database, most conventional go-to baby brands are laced with toxic chemicals and nasty additives. Don’t believe me? Have a look for yourself! With that said, as moms, our job becomes more difficult to protect our little ones. Luckily Nature Bumz has already done the research for us, allowing us to buy safe, natural and organic products for our entire family! :)

Based in Niagra Falls, ON, Canada, Nature Bumz is dedicated to selling only the very best products to their customers which means there is less hassle for us busy, eco-friendly and health-conscious moms who want what’s best for our families!  In addition to selling cloth diaperseco-friendly toys, they also have a lovely selection of bath and skincare products for babies, which include Delish Naturals products!

Delish Naturals at Nature Bumz

Even though Delish Naturals has been around since 2008 (the year our first son was born), I hadn’t tried out their products until just recently:

Actually it was Brian of Nature Bumz who thought they would make an excellent addition to our newborn son’s bath, diapering and skin care routines.  Since I trust the products Brian sells, it was an easy decision to try them on our newborn son. The Delish Naturals products we’ve been enjoying for the past month include Delish-ious Baby Shampoo and Body Wash, Delish Naturals Yum Bum Butter & Delish Naturals Baby & Body Lotion.

All natural and tear-free, the vanilla-banana Delish-ious Baby Shampoo and Body Wash {$15.25} gently and effectively cleanses my son’s sensitive skin. A little goes a very long way, so just a dab or two is all we need. What I especially love about this product is that it doesn’t leave his skin stripped of moisture, in fact I tried some just on my hand when I first received it and I was amazed at how soft my skin felt. Plus, like I mentioned earlier, I love that Delish Naturals consist of only natural or organic  ingredients!

Wow – where do I start?! The hubster and I are so glad to have been using Delish Naturals Yum Bum Butter {$14.99} on our little one’s heiny for a hundred different reasons! Not only does it have what could be the best diaper cream scents ever (we tried ‘monkey farts’ – it smells like bananas) but once again, a little goes a very, very long way! The hubster especially likes that it wipes off easily, which makes those frequent trips to the change table go much, much smoother (less crying – my son, not my husband) and the fact that it is cloth diaper compatible obviously won us over at hello.  Did I mention it can also be used to treat eczema, psoriasis, cradle cap & plain old dry skin?!  Yep, this stuff is pretty awesome indeed!

If you are going to invest in just one natural baby lotion, please be Delish Naturals Baby & Body Lotion {$8.99}. Silky to the touch, grease-free, and smelling good-enough-to-eat (seriously – the scent we tried is called Gingerbread Man) this lotion is perfect all year round! But seeing as our littlest guy was born at the end of January, you can only imagine how dry his sensitive skin is.  Fortunately Delish Naturals is keeping his skin perfectly moisturized and like all their products I’ve used, the value is unbeatable because everything is non-toxic and very budget-friendly thanks to only needing a little bit at a time.

Once again, Nature Bumz has proven to me they truly know what products are safe, work the best and give us the most bang for our buck. Plus I love that they carry fantastic Canadian brands like Delish Naturals :)

Nature Bumz offers free pickup to customers located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada and ships within Canada & the United States. Check out their website and follow them on facebook to stay in the loop on new products and specials (psst – there are plenty of Delish Naturals products currently on sale! )
