Recently I had the fantastic opportunity to review the Stainless Steel Popsicle Mold made by Onyx that pure | simple LIVING carries. Upon first glance, I knew right away it was of high quality and would surely impress. Boy I was right – they are sturdy, easy to use and most importantly, I know they are safe for my little ones to enjoy! :)
Prepping it by washing it in soapy warm water was a breeze – as is the case with most stainless steel products. In fact, I was all set up and ready to go in about 3 minutes from opening up the package. Talk about easy! I asked my 3 year old son to help juice some fruits to put in the molds. He couldn’t decide on strawberries & kiwi or pineapple & orange, so we made both!
The Popsicle molds are so much fun for kids! My son had a blast stringing on the coloured silicone markers onto each Popsicle stick (which we have just washed and reused over and over) and placing the tops onto the bottoms. This would make for a great matching/hand-coordination task for toddlers, too! Speaking of the wooden sticks, pure | simple LIVING will shortly be carrying bamboo sticks, and I seriously can’t wait to get my hands on some!
Made from 18/8 stainless steel, it is no surprise that our homemade Popsicles froze in practically no time at all!
Delicious – and certainly makes for one fantastic teether, too! ;) As a side note, I really love that we are able to place the pops back into the molds should the little ones not be able to finish it all at once!
I love homemade treats, especially ones that are made with safe, non-toxic products! Actually, we are having friends over for a backyard BBQ next weekend and I think these molds will be great for making frozen margarita pops! What do you think?! ;)

I definitely want to win this for my family. I bought a silicone mold last year and it didn’t WORK! The popcicles were stuck inside. So frustrating.

I would like to win this for my family. From the youngest grand child to myself, we all like frozen pops in the summer time. I like to make very healthy smacks for my family and there are many healthy recipes for frozen snacks.

I really liked the Set of 3 Stainless Steel Containers with a Thermal Bag. This set includes a handmade cotton thermal zippered lunch bag and handle. It includes the 2 oz, 7 oz and 20 oz Greentainers pans with clips. The lunch bag is made from durable dark denim fabric with a royal blue interior lining. I like Stainless Steel cookware – I personally think it has many uses and is very healthy to cook with. Also, I like the thermal bag to keep my pans organized when not in use. Thank you!
